Estela Sáez Vilanova, 1977, born in Girona. Artist that lives and works in Amsterdam, studied jewellery at the Escola Massana, Barcelona. Winner of Premi Massana 2001, Spain and the Talente Price for Design 2006, Germany.
From January 2005 to 2007, assistant of Ruudt Peters in Amsterdam, developing at the same time her project TERRA.
THE ARTIST
Through the materials Polyesther,silver, glass in addition of natural elements, I shape my feelings and, from my counscient and uncounscient , describe what I can not explain by words.
The fact of looking my deepest emotions, and the fact of questioning myself which is the meaning of jewellery.
Mind and Heart are talking through my hands.
